About Me
If I was to trace back to when my interest in design began, it probably began during my fixation with trains as a kid. I was obsessed with the MTA’s train map. I loved how the colorful lines that represented different train lines, I loved how every dot represented a stop, how these simple visuals could convey such complex ideas and systems.
Years later, I got into art history, learning how art and design evolve and how they influenced culture over time. What ultimately led me to want to work in UX, is my curiosity behind the ‘what’ of digital design. What does every interaction leave a user with? What purpose does design serve for the people?
When I’m not working on design projects, you’ll find me:
Curled up with my cat, Sora 🐱
Playing The Sims 4, Stardew Valley or Civ 6 🎮
Volunteering at my local community garden, Harlem Grown 🪴
Learning American Sign Language and how to code 👩💻
Trying out different food spots in the city
